Candle Care Tips:

1. Trim the Wick: Cut the wick before each burn to around 1/4 inch. This serves to avoid unnecessary flickering and smoking, providing a clean, even burn.

2. First Burn Is Important: The first time you use your candle, let it burn for at least 2-3 hours until the wax melts all the way across the surface. This will avoid tuneling and create an even burn when the candle is being used.

3. Burn Time: Do not burn your candle longer than 4 hours at a time. This keeps the fragrance clean and will prevent the wick from mushrooming.

4. Keep It Clean: Make sure you regularly remove any of the wick trim, matches, or debris from the wax pool so they don’t create a potential for an uneven burn, burning the wick and sooting.

5. Storage: Candles should be stored in a cool, dry environment out of sunlight to prevent fading.

Candle Safety Tips:

1. Placement: Always put your candle on a stable, heat-safe surface. Store it away from flammable items, drafts, and vibrations.

2. Supervision: Always supervise the burning candle. Keep it away from children and pets.

3. Extinguishing: Snuff your candle using a snuffer or blow gently on the flame to put it out. Do not add water to hot wax, it will splatter.

4. Container Check: Make sure there is no crack or damage to the candle container before lighting the mechanism. Do not continue to use when 1/4 inch of wax is left to avoid overheating the container.

5. Multiple Candles: Place multiple candles at least 3 inches apart so they do not melt each other and so sufficient airflow can reach each one.
